The two floors
Pick the craft you actually do
Elite Clipping and Elite Editing are separate floors with separate rooms and separate perks. Opening one opens nothing on the other, because the two floors protect different work.
Two routes
Earned, or opened. Both are real
Cast used to say Elite could only be earned. That is still true of the standing itself, and it is still free. Opening the floor directly is a second door into the same rooms, and saying so plainly is better than pretending there is only one.
Opened
PaidYou open the same floor directly, with the same rooms and the same early access. It does not make you promoted and it does not put a judgement on your work. It buys the access, not the standing.
Nobody holds either Elite role by promotion today. Both floors are built, both are empty, and that is published here rather than hidden because the numbers on this site are meant to be checkable.
What it is
A standing, not a rank
Roles in Cast run on three axes and only the first one gates anything. Track decides which channels you see. Standing sits on top of the track you are already on. Tags describe you and change no access at all. The rule behind it is short. Gate the craft, not the person.
Axis one
Track
Clipper or Editor. One each, and it is the only thing that decides which channels open. If you genuinely work in both, that is a support ticket with something that shows it, not a second click.
Axis two
Standing
Elite. It is earned inside the track you are on, so Elite Clipper and Elite Editor are separate roles held by separate people. There is no Elite that spans both.

Tags
Entrepreneur is the first one. Tags stack, they are self serve, and they open nothing. A clipper who runs a brand should not have to choose between getting paid and being visible as demand.
How you get it
One route in, and a person at the end of it
There is no threshold that promotes you automatically. The head of your track runs the command by hand, and that is deliberate. A number can be farmed. A judgement about your work cannot.

Verify, then pick a track
One form at the door. Name, email, phone and your main handle. Then one question for the track you pick. Clippers give a top page, editors give a portfolio.

Put the work where it can be seen
Clip drops and edit drops, wins with the numbers on them, and time in voice. The track leaderboards post twice a day at 00:30 and 12:30 UTC, so nobody has to ask how they are doing.

The head of your track promotes you
One command, run by the HOD of the track you are on, and only inside that track. HOD Clipping cannot promote an editor and HOD Editing cannot promote a clipper.

Hold it by still doing the work
Elite reflects what you are doing now, not what you did in a good month. The same command takes it off. If that happens you get told why, in the same way a rejected clip gets told why.

Four things Elite is not
The category is full of tiers that turn out to be a payment or a follower count. This one is neither, and the fastest way to prove that is to say what it is not before anyone asks.
Not something you can be promoted into with money
The floor can be opened by subscribing. The standing cannot. A head of track grants Elite by hand after watching the work, that route is free, and a payment does not make it more likely or replace it.
Not permanent
It reflects current work. Going quiet for a stretch means it comes off, and it can be earned back the same way it was earned the first time.
Not cross track
Elite Clipper and Elite Editor are separate roles. Being Elite on one track grants nothing on the other, because the two floors protect different craft.
Not an invite count
An older version of the server granted Elite at 200 invites. That route is off. Bringing people in is worth something on its own, and it is not this.
Questions
Answered plainly
How long does it take to reach Elite?
There is no published number of clips or hours, because nobody holds the role yet and inventing a threshold now would be a promise the ops cannot keep. What the head of your track is looking at is work posted in the open, wins with real numbers on them, and time spent in voice with the rest of the track.
Can I be Elite on both tracks?
No. You hold one track, so you can hold one Elite. If you genuinely work in both, open a support ticket and say which, with something that shows you do both. Somebody reads it.
Does Elite pay a different rate on the same campaign?
No. A campaign has one published rate and everybody on it is paid that rate. What Elite changes is which campaigns you see and when you see them.
Can Elite be taken away?
Yes, by the same command that grants it. It tracks current work rather than a past month. If it comes off you get told why and what would put it back.
Is there a fee, a boost or a subscription?
There is a subscription, and it opens the floor. There is no boost requirement and no fee to be in the server or to take a campaign. Promotion by a head of track stays free and stays the only route that says somebody judged your work.
What happens to Elite if I switch tracks?
It does not carry. Standing is earned inside a track and moving to the other one means starting on the base role there. Switching goes through a ticket rather than a button, for that reason.
Do I need a following to be considered?
No. You post on your own accounts and the work is judged on what you cut, not on the audience you brought. That is true at the base role and it stays true here.
