What it is
A board, a gate, and a room that reads your export
Editing works differently from clipping and the difference is deliberate. There is no per view rate here. A client lead is posted, you apply, and if you qualify the client's contact arrives in your direct messages. What you charge is between you and them.
The work
How a lead becomes your client
The board hands over a contact, not a contract. Everything after that is yours.
You apply
One button on the lead. You give a portfolio and your current capacity, and the application is recorded against that lead's seats.
The gate decides
Hold the Editor role, seven days of tenure, no live strike, under three contacts claimed this week, and a free seat left on the lead. All five have to pass. Miss one and it queues to a staff card for a human to read, with no promised turnaround.
The contact is released
It arrives by direct message. From there the work and the money are between you and the client. Cast does not take a cut of it and does not set your rate.

The war room and the drops forum
Day to day editing chat in the war room. The export itself goes in the drops forum, one post per edit, with what it was for and what you were going for, because a critique of an edit without knowing the intent is just taste.
The head of the track
Elite Editing is granted by hand by the head of the editing track after watching the work. There is no threshold to farm, which means somebody is genuinely reading what you post.
No trials, no spec work
The Elite floor's own channel topic says it: paid briefs for editors who already proved it. Proving it happens in the war room and on real leads, not on unpaid tests.

How many client contacts can an editor claim a week?
Under three for a regular Editor, and that cap is one of the five conditions on the release gate. An Elite Editor has no weekly cap, no tenure to serve, no seat to wait on and no staff queue.
What is the difference between Editing and Elite Editing?
Editing is the free track: the war room, drops, resources and a leads board behind a five condition gate. Elite Editing is the floor above it, where the client contact releases instantly and briefs with a budget are offered first, by promotion from HOD Editing or for ≈$5.25 a month.
