Is VALORAE Cast legit? What we publish so you can check

You have been burned before, or someone in a group chat warned you, and now every server that promises paid clips looks like the last one.

Good. Keep that.

I run VALORAE Cast, and I am about to tell you it is legit. On its own, that sentence is worth nothing.

Here is the problem with this whole post. Every claim below is something I wrote, and anyone copying our name can paste the same words onto a lookalike page tomorrow.

So I am not going to ask you to trust the words. Each check points at something you can open yourself, outside this post, before you cut a single frame.

Check 1: There is one invite, and Discord will confirm it

The only invite is discord.gg/valoraecast.

I asked Discord's own invite endpoint, discord.com/api/v10/invites/valoraecast, on 2026-09-27, and it returned our server name with no expiry date set.

You can open the same address in a browser tab. The answer comes from Discord, not from anything I control.

Icons, banners and server names cost nothing to copy. The string after discord.gg/ is the one part a lookalike cannot take while we hold it.

Every other string with our name in it is not ours. Not valorae-cast, not valoraecast-official, not a shortened link someone drops in your DMs.

Check 2: The rate is on the page before you cut

A bad deal hides the number until after you have done the work.

A rate you read after the work is a rate someone picked after seeing your views.

We do the opposite. Campaign clips pay starting from $0.80 per 1,000 views, and that line sits on valoraecast.com where you can read it without joining anything.

The live campaign spells out its own terms: $0.80 per 1,000 views, a 1,000-view minimum, a $300 cap per clip, and review within 24 hours.

Those are that campaign's terms, not a promise about every future brief. The next campaign publishes its own numbers the same way, before you open your editor.

If a campaign using our name will not show you a rate, a minimum and a cap in writing, do not cut for it. The clauses worth confirming on any campaign, ours included, are in what to lock before your first clipping campaign.

Check 3: Money only moves toward you

This is the check that catches almost everything.

Joining costs nothing. Picking a craft costs nothing. Submitting a clip to a campaign costs nothing.

There is one paid thing, Elite, and it is optional. It is priced on valoraecast.com in your own currency and bought on the site, never by sending money to a person.

I get why people flinch at any paid tier. The last server that burned them probably called its fee a "verification" step too.

The difference is where the fee sits. Ours sits on a public page with a list of what it buys, and the ordinary campaigns stay open to everyone who joined for nothing.

So the rule is simple enough to use in a hurry. If anyone asks you for a fee to unlock campaigns, release a payout, verify your account or get a role, that is not us, whatever name sits on the profile.

Elite sells extras on top, never the way in. I wrote out what a paid tier can and cannot honestly charge for in should you pay for a clipping course or Discord, and Elite is held to the same five questions as everyone else.

Check 4: Payout proof goes in a public channel

"We pay" is the cheapest sentence on the internet.

What costs something is showing it. Our site says payout proof goes in a public payout channel inside the server, where every member can read it.

Read that channel before you believe anything else on this page. Scroll back, look at the dates, and ask in the server if a payout looks off.

A community that pays has every reason to keep that channel busy. One that does not pay has every reason to hide it, or to show you cropped screenshots in a DM instead.

And if a payout ever does not match the brief, the brief is where that conversation starts. That is why Check 2 comes before this one.

Check 5: We are a community, so there is nothing to sell you

A lot of the burns I hear about start with someone selling work.

A guaranteed client package. A placement fee. A course that promises a monthly number.

VALORAE Cast is a community on Discord. Clippers and editors learn in the open and take paid work through the same door, and the money on that work comes from the campaign or the client, never from you.

We do not sell you a guaranteed client. We do not sell you a job.

So if someone claims to be hiring for VALORAE and wants money from you first, you already have the answer from Check 3.

Now back to the problem I opened with.

A copycat can copy every word on this page. It cannot copy Discord's answer for our invite, a rate published on our own domain, a payout channel members can scroll, or the fact that we never ask you for money.

That is the whole point of the list. Not one of the five checks asks you to believe me.

The short version

• Join only through discord.gg/valoraecast, and confirm the name on Discord's invite endpoint.
• Read the rate, the minimum and the cap before you cut anything.
• Refuse any fee to unlock campaigns, release a payout or buy a role.
• Buy Elite on valoraecast.com or not at all, because it is optional.
• Scroll the public payout channel before you trust any claim.
• Treat anyone selling you work in our name as someone else.
